What will NAMM 2017 bring? We hope lots of cool gear, software, and other things. There have been a lot of rumors all over the Internet about what may be coming. Here’s Our Wish List (not in any order):
Rob Papen released a long awaited update to the world renowned Predator soft synth with Predator 2. He also released the eXplorer 4 bundle at the same time. With eXplorer 4, you get a plugin called Prisma, but we were unsuccessful in running the product when we tested it. It would not pass the AU validator tool, so we will wait for the next release to test it in full detail.
It took some time for me to consider upgrading, with the issues I have had in the past with ProTools and El Capitan. Even at ProTools 12.6, I only loaded it on my test (non-production) system as I did not want to impact any production deadlines due to some issue with my software.
